Malware Message

A bit of malware took advantage of a vulnerability in our banner ad serving system.

As a result of this, a banner ad was not displayed and the site may have tried to trick you into clicking on a malware install button. If you clicked on the button you need to run your antivirus program, Adaware, Search & Destroy, etc.

If you did not get affected (few people did), you may be getting a message from your browser stating that this site is hosting Malware.

Malware is NOT being hosted on this site. You can safely ignore the message or change the setting in your browser to not display the warning for now.

The warning message for this site will be disabled once Google has reviewed our site and verified that the offending script has been removed (it has).

Josh, I run an e-commerce site and have had issues with malicious hackers / malware.

I have an .htaccess file that blocks most of the known problem IP addresses used for this, although the downside is that it blocks pretty much all of Asia. If you're interested I can send it your way.

Site is safe now, Google has to review the site files before the warning goes away.

Looks like the site isn't fully functional for me in firefox. I get the warnings whenever I click on anything, and the formatting is messed up.

You will continue to get warnings until Google verifies the site is safe. You can choose to ignore all warnings by making a change in the Security tab in Firefox.

yeah I have Kaspersky and it picked it up. Also all mac users I think there are only 3 viruses you have to worry about and I don't think they can be delivered through Trojans.

Good to go this morning. I didn't enter the site last night and both firefox and safari reported malware notices.. so I guess I'm safe. I'm running a mac.

Yes, the site has been removed from the blacklist so your browser will no longer report it as being unsafe.

Also we are working on patching the issue before we reenable the banner ads.
