hey guys just thought i share my results with you guys....

i made a bet with the parental unit. lolz. i bet them that my water from the rodi was the best water you can drink... they doubted me. so today i recieved my tds meter. little did they no that the rodi is the best water you can drink...

my results

sink water - 47
poland springs 5 gallon jug - 38
there water filter (royal prestige) - 37

RODI - big fat 000 on the meter.

they were shocked. hehe i won... now they are gonna buy a seperate rodi unit. the same one i got for the kitchen downstairs so they (well I) dont have to lug 5 gallon water jugs up and down 20 steps. just thought u guys would like to no.

Ok you've got some dirty Poland spring there buddy..mine tests at 2ppm :lol:...somethings wrong..tap tested at 36...lol...and potty water at a big fat 15ppm.

i dunno i tested the poland spring after i tested my rodi so the testers were def. clean... those are true results. and if the tester was off the rodi prob would of came up wrong. while all other sources had a higher ppm..

Maybe I was on the co2 that day....and all i did was test air...probably wasnt even h2o in the cup...i need to be supervised while playing with the TDS meter....anyone tested segrams? hmmmmm..:bigeyes2:

I stopped Dr. Pepper because the can is supposedly smarter than me with that "Dr" title :lol::joke:...i never tasted the stuff

These were numbers off the top of my head, it was a long time ago.
The best is my LFS used that Tap water thing, i walked in for dog food, and always wanted to test it. You can see the beads were exhausted, a went home and grabbed
my TDS meter, the water coming out of that Tap thing had higher TDS then his tap water.

Yea Kris its this thing, and he probable didnt change the filter in a while.

I have a friend bruce he has a 180 he wont join any boards. He uses the same for water changes and top off on a 180. Wont use a RO/DI because of the waste.
I lent him my TDS meter he told me the TDS was 0 i find that hard to believe.

Got ya I used to have one of those, then I got the ebay unit. Works like a charm.

A 0 TDS reading out of tap is reallly hard to believe.
