That's why its very important to use starboard or similar, and make sure you secure the live rock sufficiently.

I thought you were only removing the sand from your setup. So you're taking all your rock out as well to cover the bottom with starboard? For aesthetics what color are you going for?

I only had two rocks in the display. One is "cooking" right now and the other is still in the tank. When I add starboard to the tank ill just momentarily move the rock over and will only remove it if necessary. Shouldn't be a big deal.
