Effect of Cloudy Water due to Reactor

I noticed my reactor was cloudy for like 2 weeks or so but too busy to check what happened, moments ago I realized the pump to the reactor has a big air bubble there and seems water is not passing thru, so I shake the bubble away so that water can pass thru freely. Now my whole system is very cloudy.

New to reactor, not experience to tell what will happen to the overall health of the system. What would be the effect?

if the air bubble was there a long time (i guess more than a day)and the water wasn't circulating in the reactor you should have dumped it out .

more than likely the bubble cause the CO2 to dissolve more media then necessary, thus the milky water. your PH was likely lower than normal. It's hard to determine if any iLL effects will come. you should have a PH probe to shut off the CO2 input when the PH gets to low. this will prevent this from happening. also you could have rinsed off the media and check to see if it was dissolved too much.
