Supplemental LEDs in 48" coral light fixture

I'm intersted in removeing my 2 pink and blue power compact tube bulbs from my 48" 250w mh fixture and adding 2 led strips in there place ! Has anyone done this? Would I use all blue? Do they make strips that would fit in those old slots??
Any help would be great I'd like to get these for Christmas so need to figure out which ones would work plus look the best

I'm looking to do same exact thing to a 72" power compact. I'm looking to get LED's. A long heat sink 68x3. 1 for front and 1 for rear. 3 watt cree bulbs, not sure of optics. I would also like some help,

I was just gonna try and find a pre built strip that would fit into both slots
But I might consider diy they are amazing i would just use aluminium strips cut to the same size as the clear cover for the bulbs can get them from home depot for cheap
I was reading on another thread pecan 2 phat started ( really great thread) where r all u diy led Guys now?
Who here has retrofitted a mh fixture with all or supplemental LEDs ?

Look at the 48" Reef Brites LED's. They are not cheap but blow away all the competitors IMO

DIY LED is great, but I didn't see the point in going half way and trying to retro a previous fixture and being limited to its dimensions.

Looking to spend a few hundred not a thosand or so plus I have a rimless with no canopy
