bleached Caps

3 caps in my tank, 2 pink, and 1 green with blue eyes, turned white today. they were fin up till yesterday. nothing changed. no water change, nothing... Why did this happen??? Any ideas?

Did you test water temperature ,calcium /Alk and pH ?Do you have pics ?

I'm a little rusty, but i believe caps are very sensitive to alk levels. What are your levels at?
