i know im not to post here but i need help now the uro brace on my tank just blew out will my tank be next the tank is 7'x2'x2'

mike get clamps and wood and go from front to back to hold the tank. thats to long of a tank to go without

yea i would go to homedepot or lowes and soon as you can and pick up one of these until you replace the tank or repair it. you can order a whole top brace but it may not be worth it depending on the shape and age of the tank

custom tank ? you can buy the bands at home depot also, just have to becareful when tightening that you dont tighten them too much

Next to a infestation, this must be the scariest thing to have happen to a tank.

did the glass brace break or did the silicone come apart?

mike your going to have too make your own brace. depending on the thickness, i know lowes sells stainless U-channel from 1/4" - 3/4" get a 24" piece cut it in half. get a piece of threaded rod and 4 nuts connect to the U-channel instant brace
