AC3 Ph Calibrating

I was about to calibrate my ph probe until I found out i have 3 different solutions. Does anyone know which one do I use? i have 10,7,and 4 solution. Keep in mind I'm not going to be running a cal reactor. I'm going to be dosing kalk hopefully

If you do 7 and 10 it is more accurate. Just make sure you clean and dry between fluids.

If your using the probe in a calcium reactor or measuring the effluent from the reactor in a drip vessel then you should be calibrating with the #7 & #4 fluid. For measuring tank parameters, then the #7 & #10 is correct.

ok now heres my problem. When I put the probe at the bottom of the tank i get a low ph. when its at the top my ph raises, but it only goes up to 7.59. how do I raise the ph without raising my cal and alk?

Are you sure it's properly calibrated ?

How do your corals look ?

i didnt calibrate it yet. Going to do that tonight. Was wondering was it normal for the ph swing?

What sort of powerheads and flow do you have? It is indeed possible to have a slight pH swing throughout the water column.
