Long Tentacle Anemone

I just got a new LTA today and I was just wanting some tips from people who have cared for these anemones, here is a picture of mine.

Yeah try it he should eat it if not try prawn or silverside and I feel like an anenome does better when there being hosted by clowns

How deep is the sand bed? You need at least 3 inches to house an LTA. When you feed your nem, be sure to chop the pieces up very small and don't feed too much.

Maroons are not a natural host species for LTAs...

It does look very nice.

Never had tamatoes I have a pair of clarki that will host any anenome

I have a little below 3 inches, it hasn't moved from where I placed it yet.

3 inches should be fine ,, mine is on a rock ,, so it doesn't neccesarily need to be on the sandbed

Ok thanks, do I need to add anything to my tank, like iodine? I have never added any elements to my tank, just whatever comes in from the salt.

No need toads anything , just give him proper lighting ,, and he should be a happy camper
