Hey guys. I got a pair of true percs from aquatic obsessions about 2and 1/2 weeks ago. They look great and they eat like animals. The only thing is they just sit in the upper right hand corner of my tank.. swimming up and down and just boring as hell... they are not exploring the rest of my 55 gallon nor are they hosting my GBTA which is accross the tank. I dont understand. Are they sad? are they dumb? any suggestions on getting them to host anemone or actually swim around like fish?

picture of them is my avatar =)

I have heard they learn best by seeing how it's done, so jump in there and show them how it's done. Mine took a couple of weeks before they got totally comfortable, so they may just need time. the female now hosts my frogspawn. They like to move all around the tank and are growing nicely. I have read about people taping pictures of a clown in a nem to the side of the tank, but I am not sure if that works. I am sure someone will chime in if they can tear themselves away from the entertainment in some other threads on the forum... :)
