wondering frogspawn floating around

for some reason a small peice, around 1 inch, of my frogspawn fell off. it was floating around, then landed on my zoas and stuck to it.

why would it break a peice off?
should i just throw it out?
will it sting coral still?
what if my fish ate it? because i cant find it anymore and my hippo was checkin it out...

mine breaks off tiny little pieces as well every so often.. i would say the size of a grain of rice.. i think its normal. i just leave it in tank.. i have had my frogspawn for about 4 years. maybe someone else could chime in

I saw it once from my Froggie, but I have only had the tank up since June. Nothing ever happened, but it wasn't stuck on anything. I just saw it on the sand bed

they can sting, remove it.

well, if there's one kind of coral which doesn't seem to care about being stung, it's zoas.
