peppermint shrimp question

Just bought 3 peppermint shrimp the other day. I saw 1 in a cave yesterday. Do they only come out at night? Are they still hiding from the other day?

Usually they only come out during lights-out; starve them just enough and they'll eventually come out during the day.

eventually they're be more bold during the daytime, but they are generally nocturnal, and will be all over the tank when the lights go out.

Sounds a little cruel... :shhh: before I release them in my tank, I usually tie some fishing line to their legs...like a short leash...that way they can't hide...until they molt, and I have to catch them again!

Day 2 Update

Seems like peppermint are doing their job because the aiptasia is bout half the size. Hopefully they will take care of the rest of it.
