I finished one my fixtures yesterday working on next. I noticed that it looks bright but the blue in particular is eye hurting intense why is that? Now to my eyes the lights when all are on does not look brighter than my t5 setup, now do corals see light different meaning our eyes trick us about the intensity of the lights?

you saying the blue is intense but not as bright as your t5's? you get a PAR reading on the light to see how intense or different it is from the t5's at different depths. then you will know how much of a difference it makes. if you have a dimmable control you can turn down the intensity of the leds.

My T5's also looked brighter, but the PAR readings on my LED's are higher.
Which doesn't necessarily mean the same applies for you, but just saying that what you see isn't necessarily the same as what the coral sees.
