carbon and gfo can burn softies if their not used to them

Then it has to be that that's the only thing I've done different was one month ago add carbon then 2 weeks after I added carbon I put phos I can't see anything else that made them upset... It sucks you think your trying to better your system and end up messing it up

once again, research zoa pox and zoa eating nudi's, also could be another preditor eating them, fish picking. i have been collecting zoa's for 6 years, i have ran ulns most of the time as my main coral passion is sps, but love zoa's as well. i dont spot feed them, and truelly doubt it is from your system being to clean. doubt it has anything to do with carbon or gfo. one thing i will say is twice a year i do have a little die off on zoa's but this is usually spring and fall when it happens

asteria will pester the crap out of them, if you have the white one's which black on the back it is possible they are munching on them, but usually only do so on a infected coral
