I've searched the forums, and it seems its the same one guy talking about this site and the LEDs that they sell.

Has anyone bought from them? If not, what do you all think of these fixtures? I'm looking to upgrade my stock lights for my 24G nano and removing the hood. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Not affiliated at all . There kits are great and CHeaper then Rapid Led and have a Video how to put it together.

+1.. They are betther than rapid! Bill, I guess hes the owner is very helpful and can work prices out with you if needed.. the only thing is that they dont offer the pre drilled heatsink.

What about non DIY lights? Such as these:

I have a nano with stock hood lights. I want to start adding some nice corals, but want to update my lights before I do that. Is a Par of 115 @ 23" good enough? My depth is about 18".

I just ordered that light but the 200w version and their new model the 3Gs. Flipit13, Rick from DOTR, has the 100w version 3Gs so maybe you might want to talk to him about that one. I still don't have mine, going to be about 2 more weeks. If you want to check out the other models go on reefkoi.com and look under their LEDs

I've bought from both.

Both are pretty decent companies.

Just be careful with price mistakes on Bill's site (Reef LED Lights)... I had a back and forth with him, but he ended up giving me discount.. so it did work out in my favor, but he STILL didn't honor the price that was listed on the site.

i wish i knew how many lights i would need for my 92 corner and how to set it up.i would love to do this for my tank with dimmable driver that woukld be hottt
