So I had a frag come in with 1 aptasia on it that i killed but obviously more existed and its been a battle. Now they are slowly spreading despite my efforts of manual removal and phosphorus injection.
Any ideas?
Dip the frag again? Anything can do for tank?

Thanks in advance

oops, I just saw Aptasia and I was like "I've got Peppermint Shrimps I want to get rid of!" Now I've got to redact my offer because sending them to perhaps a death sentence isn't cool.

note to self: Read all replies next time.

the pistol shrimp will probably kill them eventually. but the same can be said for adding crabs and snails to your tank at the same time. granted this is probably gonna happen sooner rather than later in a 6 gal tank, but the peppermints might live long enough to get the job done, and if you get some really large peppermints and have a really small pistol it could work out for a while...

your aiptasia will not be taken care of if the shrimps are killed.if you are lucky enough that the peppermints eat the aiptasia when they are all gone you will need them to take care of the little ones they didnt see.if the pistol kills them they will come right back
