Cleaning power heads

I just wanted to know if a cheep tooth brush is ok to clean out the vertech

I just soak it in vinegar overnight (I have a spare wetside, but an hour should be enough if overnight is too long for you), then anything just falls right off with a light scrub with your hands

lol ming that would be death for me to leavr over night I need the vortech for the flow excelent idea though . I just cleaned it with the tooth brush and I think oral b hits the spot lmao

i scrub all my powerheads and it comes out much cleaner then soaking it.sometimes elbow grease is the best

Ant scrub it with hot water and vinegar...as mentioned it will be easier if you can soak it

Just try not to take impeller apart because you could break it like it did, spined the hub, Why you want to clean it anyway??

I used hot water but I am a sap and took off all the brittle stars before I cleaned.

Thats all I ever use hot water and a tooth brush, its been working since 94

+1 this works with no effort the next day to clean.....Ming is on the money...:splitspin
