Help With Apex Controller

I order my apex controller and it should arrive tomorrow (yay!). So I need the Apex Controller Pros to help me with the settings. I plan on hooking it up to my pc. Im going to be controlling my 120g, but I plan on controlling both my 120g and my 60g cube in the near future.

yes use the ethernet cable. if you do anything wireless files will be corrupted and the controller will become non responsive. the latest version is 4.04-BC10 and can be found on

Manny i got mines setup last night, its really easy we can even copy the program from the old one and add in whats needed to get it running.

question, i think I'm missing something. My box that the ph and orp probe plugs into didnt come with a power pack. Is that something that comes separate?

The only thing that plugs to an outlet is the dc 8. Everything else plugs into the dc 8.

Nothing missing. It gets power from the energy bar via the USB cable.

I finally got it up and running. Took me till 6am but i'm happy. The only problem was I had was when I was programing through my pc, it wasnt saving the settings. When I did it through the controller I had no problems. The last thing i need to do is set it up so i can recieve email alerts.

Sounds great. The documentation of the codes is not the greatest but there are a number of places on the web that people have posted sample codes which help. The email was the hardest thing for me to get set up. Let us know if you need help.
