Has anyone tried these items? It is suppose to eliminate the need to vodka dose. What opinions does everyone out there have?

i beg to differ i have them in the reactor and work great for me. but i did also made my own plates for the reactor. i have great tumbling. i did get nervous though cause my tank went super cloudy. but was told it was a bacterial bloom and add 2 airstones to my sump. i did and crystal clear in a day.

Yeah the Cloady problem is from the reactors not giving you the correct flow throw the pellets never had the cloady problem when started the pellets . The pellets have to be flooting tumble not just a tumble with the pellets on top of each other the flow has to go throw each pellet evenly if not you will get a bacterial bloom that can wipe out a tank or case a big problem.

i dont have the problem anymore though nor do i have the airstones in the sump. to be honest i dont think it could tumple any more or they would be popping out of the reactor.
