I have an outbreak in my tank, almost sure it some sort of parasite, water test reveal everything ok, salt level good, temp 80 deg. About a week ago I did a 50% water change - was moving tank, sand got stirred up.....

Problems, lost damsels and an atlantic blue tang, pop-eye and ik:dead1: :dead1:
I have a clown fish, a purple pseudo all that remains......no sps/lps, 1 very tiny anemone.........

I need something to eat or kill the parasite..... onfused: ..

Hey Tony,
How do you get ick from the sand being stirred up? Lets not try to make a diagnosos without knowing the situation first dude. It will just cause confusion.

it could be alot of things.. the sand thing is def. not good. and the stress that was prob. done to the fishs wasnt good either. there are many causes for everything..

hahaha i aint opening any bottles of pickles here.... no need for it..

ok

after the sand has been established for a period of time the sand usually stores bad stuff within it. hence when stirred and the sand is moved it releases all the bad stuff into the water column how much i dont no but he did have 2 fish die... so as i said it could be many things. the sands toxins, stress and many other factors...

You moved your tank with 50% of the water in it? What type of tank and how big?

How long after you moved the tank did they die? Did you get any new fish in recently?
