Cheto vs. any other macroalgea?

Sorry if I posted this twice...

Cheto vs. any other macroalgea? I have a problem with nitrates and added a refugium to my tank. Is cheato the best? Any other advice you can give me for a refugium?
Most imprtant, where can I get it cheapest? I am in the Hoboken/Jersey City area.

Cheato is the hardiest, fastest growing and most available option.

Chaeto is the best out there for nitrates. My tank isn't that perfect when it comes to water parameters, meaning that it has nitrates and such so my chaeto grows ridiculously fast.

Caulerpa is also good. I have some mixed in with my chaeto as well.
