So today I was doing a water change on the propagation system which is plumbed into my display - after the water change, I cleaned up and went upstairs to do some additoinal work. I look over my shoulder and my display was full of milk -

This could be one of two things - spawn or complete death of my SPS.

I ran downstairs to see if the XL clams I have spawned but the water was crystal clear, it was isolated to my display and everything else was fine.

I ran back upstairs to start taking a look to see what's what - my pipe organ seemed to be melting away - it's the size of a football right now and was thinking "I can't believe it's going to die" after 4rys. After further inspection the "melting away" was actually "crawling" - there were what seemed to be THOUSANDS of mini brittle stars all over the outside of the colony. At their largest, these things are the size of a nickel and have cool markings.

Lights were off, but I was able to capture some shots of the legs sticking out and some of them running around on top of the colony .

After knowing it was just a spawn, I laughed about it and continued to shoot pictures. Take a close look to see how many there are - crazy!

Enjoy!
