so i have litterally hunderds of purple tipped mushrooms in my tank.what is the best method for removing them.i dont want them to die and would like to maybe sell them or give some away to a noob.i was thinking razor at the stem but then what.how do i get them onto a frag plug?

take a shallow chinese food container and fill the bottom with LR rubble throw the cut shrooms on top and cover with some kind of flexible netting ( used a clear one that wrapped a wine bottle)

I take an exacto knife and slice off a sliver of rock under the shroom.
You can use that sliver of rock to crazy glue them to the new rock. Use the gel kind. Keep them in low flow for a while until it fully attaches.

+1 0n this method, but also look around the sand bed you may find a few already there, ready for pickup. mushrooms tend to break off pieces in order to reproduce.
