red cap monti.......webs?

so ym red cap monti seems to have been releasing webs.......
its about 3 inches way from a leather, and the leather hasnt been looking good.
is this normal?
why is it doing this?

that is hard to tell....
the edges for sure, but i do think it is coming from the whole thing as well.
