Well I got some fish the other day that included a pair of Occellaris clowns. Last night I noticed one of the clowns freakin out! He seemed so stressed, just hangin in the top corner of the tank. I scooped him out and threw him in my Display fuge. I woke up this morning and seen this:

Tank raised ocellaris clowns generally sleep at the top of the tank, and will flail around when disturbed at night. So when you grabbed him and threw him in the fuge, that's when he got stressed out and he prob died before the aiptasia got a hold of him. Pretty crazy to see that though, I didn't know a little aiptasia could take down a whole clownfish.

No I didnt just jump the gun when I seen him, he was freakin out all day. I just got the pair off Domboski the other day. This guy, for some reason, broke away from the other and just started stressing out. Now although I didnt see it, Im blaming my Bi-color psudeochromis for the stress. I knew that the psudeo was gonna be a problem but I figured adding a few fish at once it would confuse the lil d**khead! I added a yellow tang, the pair of occ and 3 blue chromis. Now before everyone freaks out on me for adding soo many fish at once, my tank has been up for 2 years and I only had the psudeo and a diamond goby in there. I feel really bad for the lil clown, he was soo cute. The other one is doin fine and is now hosting my nem. Its funny tho, I figured the psudeo would go after the chromis before the clowns, but he dosent even bother them.

Thanx guys. Yeah, I think Id rather have the aptasia eat it then have it rotting away under a rock somewhere. Im just glad I had the chance to take pics of it. I've spot feed the nem before but never seen it eat a fish! Btw this aptasia is in a display refugium, so there are no other animals that can be accidentally munched on by him!

Well I went to check to see how the aptasia was digesting the clown and what I found was messed up! I guess the apt bite off a lil more than it could chew cause this is what I found
