Hey not all of my posts were arguement post lol, I always took Senior post just to mean you have been on here for awhile, Not that it meant people were Gods in the hobby. I changed mine anyways, And the Junior meant hey I'm new to the site show me the ropes.

Actually wasn't consciously referring to you there Jaa, I just ended up posting right after you. you sometimes have useful info. sometimes. :) I just suspect you post troll-like stuff on occasion and call you on it. Nothing personal.

SENIOR MEMBER!!!!!...they're not even high school SENIORs...how misleading to anyone visiting the site, that might listen to advise given by a SENIOR member!

I think the term Senior Member (and access to the User title option) should not be applied to anyone with less than a year (or more) on the board, without Mod's approval.

*posts by anyone disagreeing with my ideas will be not be tolerated! As you may have noticed I am now a SUPERIOR MEMBER!

No, it changes automatically to this after a certain number of posts, although obviously you can modify it. I found it odd when mine changed too. I'm sure they can change the criteria for this though.

ha, thanks for clearing that up.

I prefer a custom one.

+1

1-50 posts is 'Junior Member'
51-99 is 'Member'
100 + posts it changes to 'Senior Member'

I also agree these particular titles should not be used to define a members experience level and hopefully we can address this in the near future.

Thanks for starting the thread Alfie! :)

personally I never pay much attention to titles etc..I do look at years in the hobby because the love and passion are there if the person has been around awhile, but still doesn't mean they know what they are doing...LOL....also I have learned that there isn't one right way to achieve a nice tank, however there are certain parameters that have to be met and maintained in order to achieve that tank.....for the newbies a point good was made..look at a persons tank and other forum threads..a tank pic tells all...would you take the advice from someone with a tank full of algae and dead rock or keeps posting about this coral or that fish died.
