alk advice

hi guys my alk of bionc ran out and i havnt been able to dose for 2 days , reason is my car was acting up and now the damn snow , tom i will be going to yonkers to get some if im able to find and pet warehouse. so far my clown and tang and corals are all fine, i havnt been dosing cal so i wont throw my system off, should i worry? im going to go tom god willing if the weather is better if not im goin to have to probably hit one of my friends here in this site to c if they have at least till sat or sun.

You can do a water change. Or use a little baking soda, very little. You dont want to bring it up to fast.

You can also do some water tests and see if your tanks Cal/Alk levels are stable or low too. Should tell you if your going to be ok.

A water change also brings your Calcium up if you do one.

Bake the baking soda for 2h at 400deg it will turn it to soda ash this will raise your ph and alk like the esv does if you us it just as baking soda it will lower ph and raise alk . Us 2 1/2 cup of baking soda to 1 gallon of Ro water

Unless you have alot of LPS and SPS in your tank that use alot daily you should be fine for 3-4 days.

Do you consume alot of alk over a 4 day period?
I wouldn't dose anything without knowing that.
