We can not go through the wall. There is electrical wires all over the place right where the pipes would break through the wall.
We are now back to either 1. having to make some sort of sides, 2. moving the tank somewhere else in the room (Tank would not be in direct sight and actually next to the couch so I do not see the point of not being able to look a the tank while sitting on the couch), 3. No more tanks at all. The Biocube is too small and very limited on coral types and fish types.
If I found a way to make side panels the tank will actually be farther out in the room than thought. I want to use threaded PVC to the bulkheads first (In case they ever need to come out or plumbing needs maintenance). 1 1/2 threaded to slip bulkheads, 1 1/2 to 1 inch bushing, then the 1 inch elbow - about 6 inches off of the wall. Looks weird as I dry plumbed that yesterday.
