pulsing coral problem

I bought a new pulsing coral frag on sunday, and it hasn't opened since, i have it under med flow and i was just wondering if this was normal.

Those corals actually hate flow, move it to a low flow area. I have mine about a foot underneath my vortech and they pulse like crazy. Also check your parameters if that doesn't work because it could be something off also.

they will also sometimes fully retract.

+1 on the lower flow, give it a day or two after you move it so it can get comfy.
