Yellow tang glued his mouth shut

Hi Guys, its a crazy thing. I was relocating a pink millepora in my tank. I use the coral putty with some glue. When I put the coral in the tank, the tang decided to take a pick at it. Now his mouth has a big glob of glue stuck to it. I tried to catch him with no luck. I am hoping its not in his mouth and just on it. Maybe he will scrape it off on some rock?

just happened to me a couple of weeks ago with a trigger...I had to catch it ..there was a big glob in it's mouth and all in it's teeth..

Hi Guys, I wanted to update you on the glue situation. Everything worked out fine like you said, he is back picking on the rocks. Thank you all for the help on this one, I really thought I was going to loose him.

hehe I was reading this thread when he first glued his mouth and I thought "No way". The same exact day I was gluing a frag and my wrasse came out of nowhere and did the same He freaked out and was banging his head all over the tank but he finally got it loose. I'm gla yours OK
