how do you use it
do i just added it to my top off water?
i lose about 1 gallon a day i add it all at once
do you have to slow drop it in?

2 teaspoons per gallon and mix with 1 gallon of ro mix real well and let settle for atleast a few hours

Jeremy, you are correct about the dripping. It works like kalkwasser.
you can add it as topoff a bit at a time or you can drip at night to balance PH.

If your losing about 1 gallon a day of evaporation, I'd add about 1/3 of that as mrs.wages to start and drip it, or about 1 pint every couple of hours if you must do it all at once. this way what you add has been distributed before you add more.

Where did you get the pickling lime? I tried to search for it locally but no luck.
You can drip it or use the Calfo slurry method (google search). I use the latter but then again my tank needs are not great.
