My Clownfish

Since I picked up the perfect snowcasso today (which I have been looking for) to pair with my Boo-Boo (wife's name for our clownfish) I figured I would introduce you all to Boo-Boo. Named this way because when we got him he was brown and very tiny (through the overflow grates tiny). He grew up and now looks a lot like Sanjay's photons but he isn't. We are waiting on shipping the snowcasso until the weather gets warmer. Hope you enjoy, I picked calmer music this time.

i got my snowcasso today... i got it from donis reef, there were 3 for sale, and as i swas goin thru it kept saying sorry sold out.. and finally the last one i got.. phew, and i got a grade A to pair with it.. where did u order yours from?

Donis reef. i got #9, they took it off but i have video of it. really awesome.

hi i watched your vid. and it was a VERY NICE tank. The only thing is my rock is like brown and green and im using RO water and my glass doesnt have all of the red and purple and I just get algae and then jusst clean it. My tank is about mon. old. Does anyone know why this is going on?

Then post a thread in the beginners forum with all the info from the first link and your goals and members here will definitely guide you in the right direction. If you are using RODI water from the start and are a month in I am guessing you are still cycling and the algae you are getting is a normal part of the process.

The snowcasso clowns are prob. my favorite fish, those are sweet looking.

me too, im actually setting up a seperate tank just for them.. im gonna pick up a 65g tank form a member on here and make a clown/nem tank display.. maybe ill be able to breed them..but thsats a long way away...but ithink my 92 g on one side of my tv and the 65 on the other would look sweet...lol sorry to hijack your thread james...

hi wrasselady I just started this hobby too, and my tank is about 2 months old and I am having the same exact problem. When I went to the store the rock was purple, but now it is like all green and brown. And my tank doesnt have the red and purple on the glass either. And I am also using RO water. Does anyone know who is more experienced than us tell us what to do?
