Melting Zoas

I got some zoas shipped to me but they are melting. What can I do to save them?

I pretty sure thats how they melted. He tried to throw in some acans but they looked like they melt before it even hit ny. There was only 1 small heat pack inside of the box. Never again.

Same thing happened to me bro I got that acan that F'd up my tank and melting zoos. They should come back I had zoos melt a few times and come back but it took a WHILE..I will never have corals shipped again. I lost so much damn coral because of that acan piece prob a grand worth if the acan looks bad and starts falling apart take it out right away or you might lose a majority of your tank like I did. Bro if you saw what that tank in my living room looks like now you would shed a tear.

this is infection try vit c but anyway if they are melting they will melt away sorry

I agree with Guri, vitamin C (sodium abscorbate) is your best bet if anything can stop the melting vitamin C would be that thing.

I tried all the mentioned items above. the best thing is to put it in your tank and pray. I kept them in my tank though they were melting and made sure parameters were in check and let them restore on their own. out of 4-5 frags. 2 frags survived and now blooming again. It was weird seeing how they lost absolutely all color and came back to life and after about 2 months they are back to their original head count if not more.

Yea shippin in the winter is tough unless they gurantee alive on arrival I saty away coral revive should help if u have another tank that might help also I have 2 tanks manny I believe u saw them when I got my darth mauls they were doin fine until one day out of the blue started melting on me so I used revive and put into my other tank and I gotta say it worked lost 4 polyps but now got em back hope all goes well with yours

Are they looking any better? I'm sure it will take a minimum of a few weeks but they should just get better on their own.
