if just looking to control lights heaters ph and few other stuff then the ac jr is more then enough the rk2 is decent also

i love my apex it does everything i want it to i have my LEDs,T5s, and MHs hook up return pump a temp & PH probe and next week my calcium reactor also my heaters i get to look at it from my iphone with the app whenever i want i get email and text alerts to the settings i set them too.... so i guess my vote would be APEX

Lights/temp/pH the AC jr or RK lite.
Multiple pH/temp, switch triggers (ATO), remote access, LED control, Tunze Control then yuo want the Apex. The RK Elite has the same features just not as many out of the box so where the Apex gives you 4 0-10V control ports (light dimming/Tunze control) the RK gives you 2.

Best bet is write down everything you want it to do and see which one fits the bill.

HELL NO as long as you have texting on your phone not at all the only thing is your apex has to be hooked up to the internet thats ALL ever phone carry has a @ for internet for example it would be your phone [email protected](might not be right address but something likie this) if you get it let me know ill give you a hand with it its a lot of port forwarding stuff like that but to answer your question with out all this YES its free

My opinion, for the money, reef keeper is awesome and a great buy. The Neptune I think is the winner just because of all the extra options, but when it comes down to it, both are amazing and worth the money. I'm personally going with the reef keeper. Cheaper, and just as good.

Agree with Rick on the Ac jr, if your using only for lights, temp and PH. I got my AC jr from Russ & Jim maybe for almost 4 yrs ago...and it does the job. Does not need to be too fancy and less money then the Apex.

apex has most of the bells and whistles - reef keeper it cost extra - ACjr if you are on a budget.

The only input I'm going to offer is based on customer service. Everyone else's input is excellent.

Neptune has great customer service. Digital Aquatics customer service leaves so much to be desired that it really needs to be part of your consideration when making your decision.
