GFO in media bag-no reactor

Anyone on here using GFO in a media bag-no reactor? i know its not as good as using in a reactor but i just want to know who ever is running gfo without reactor, if you pack the media bag tightly with the gfo or do you leave bag loose like the chemipure?

You want the media loose. If you pack it the water goes around and not through making the gfo useless. Think of it like a sponge, it won't do its job if the water isn't going through it.

Im really surprised that noone is making a GFO sponge yet for the nano users.
