Could it be stray voltage? because everything seems in check. I read somewhere that you could check this with a voltmeter. I am trying to find that article.
lastly are there any metals eroding in the water? like some people use stainless steel ring clamps but some of them the screws are not and can rust and stuff. probably not it but maybe if u have several in the tank it can add up.
sulfur isnt a smell easy to miss, like rotten eggs. what is the flow rate on the calcium reactor? do you have a denitrator or other very low flow device on the system?
the reason i ask is i once had a denitrator that had been plugged up, i opened it up and the sulfur that got into the tank hurt some corals (especially soft corals like xenia that were wiped out)
Your ph would be lowest right before the lights turn on. At night right before the lights turn off is usually the highest. Try testing the ph in the morning
