I think my solenoid might be broken. If I unplug it the from the wall my calcium reactor CO2 still pumps out and my ph controller doesn't turn it off either. Is there a way to check if it still working? There isn't a light on it.
Thanks,
Mike

If solenoid unplug still lettting CO2 out then is broken that is why it does not repond to your PH controller correctly. I replaced mine when that happened. I thought of changing only the solenoid for about $50 dollars I beleive but decided to change the whole CO2 controller with the solenoid included as mine was too old anyway.

you should have the solenoid connected to the controller - plug it directly in the wall and you should hear it click. try hitting the solenoid. i took mine apart and put it back to together and it worked fine. I had the same symptoms as yours - it was stuck open.
