Macro that suck up phosphates?

Is there a macro algae that absorbs phosphates?
I know that chaeto largely sucks up nitrates but what about phosphates?

I'd like to have a tank that runs on macro to keep it clean. of course I would do water changes and such as well

Your best bet would be to run a reactor with gfo. That keep your phosphates in check

Yeah i know I can do that. however I want to try to keep less chemicals/equipment on my tank..

Apparently caulerpa does well to remove phosphates.

If I stock up my fuge with caulerpa, I should be able to remove phosphates right?

You have to keep caulerpa from going a-sexual or it will overrun your tank.
