coasters for metal stand?

this might be a dumb question, but is there any think i can do to keep from ruining my wood floors. i have a 55 and a newly aquired 125 gallon tank. they both have metal stands. my thing is the metal stands have these L shaped legs and they dig into the floor. i recently had to slide over the 55 so i placed pieces of carpet (upsidedown) to slide. do they make some type of coasters or something that it can just sit on? any thoughts are appreciated!

You can just use particle board or a the thin strips of wood people use to stir paint with. I've seen people use those the level out uneven metal stands before to.

ok, so i think i will go with plywood cut out the same dimensions as the base of the stand, put some sort of low profile sliders on the underside and paint it black

Glue something on the wood so it is not wood to wood contact.
Home Depot sells felt padding or the plastic stuff for the bottoms of chair legs.

Home Depot and Lowes sell a product, that is basically a coaster to protect your furniture from ruining your wood floors. They are very easy to put on the furniture. Perhaps they could be used for your metal stand. Best of luck!
