Pic of Corals I picked up from the swap

Hi everyone.. I finally had the chance to take some shot of the corals I got from the fragswap. If anyone could give me more info and placement of the that be great.

As I now just put them randomly in the tnak.. Not the greatest picture quiality as I am using the Sony T1 Cybershot..

So far this is what I have taken good shot of. Any comment is welcome.

Got some really nice stuff there. I'm gonna take a stab in the dark here and say that number 4 is a pocillopora. Thats what the one I traded looked like.

what kind of lighting do you have?

I have two 175w MH and two 54w blue+. So far I think the 2 175w XM bulbs wash out alot of color from my zoo and other corals. I have this urge to switch to the 14k bulb now.. I don't know what to do now.

Kris and jonathan, yea thats the name.. I got it at the end when I saw you have a bigger one in your tank.. It looked awesome!

I have the 175 XM as well. The color isn't the best on the 10K bulb, but it's OK for my taste. When this bulb does need to be replaced I'll probably be heading with the 14K. If you do switch let me know how you like them.

hey you know what type of Xenia #3 is? I have the same one. I have been trying to propagate it by cutting of its heads...but that hasnt been working

I think its usually called the pom pom xenia or Pulsing Xenia (Xenia elongata).

If yours pulsing that is..

That looks like my pulsing xenia. Do you cut off a whole stem or just one polyp? They should be pretty easy to attach.

I think its better to cut of a small stem. This way it grow faster and easlier to attach. And they do attach pretty quickly. I would say within 2 days.
