film on water

i just started to use hikari mysis shrimp and im getting the only film on my water is there a way to get rid of it . when i was using another name brand of mysis i never had film like i have now, has anyone delt with this?

Did you rinse the food before you put it in the tank? Defrost it first and rinse it with RO water in a net. It will get rid of all the "nasties" that they use to pakage it.

Does it say which type of mysis it is? One is much fattier than the other and does tend to leave an oily residue on the surface of the water.
