I've been looking online, n can't seem to find this type of frag plug I bought maybe 100pc two-3 years ago n ran out yesterday. These are the best type ceramic n smooth coral took on a base in three days. Plus I have a deep sand bed so I just put right in sand n nothing nocks them over

I have to Bump this thread cause I'm in the same boat.My TDS is reading zero,I do the water changes,New bulbs but it seems localized to one area of the tank with the brown stuff on the sand..I changed all the cartridges but the carbon but it's not old.I'll change that one too or my Meter is bad.I test the tap and it's high so I know it works-duh.

TDS - Total Dissolved Solids

If you're using an RO/DI filtration system, you should be using a TDS meter to help you to determine the appropriate time to change your filters. Since we look for RO/DI water to have zero TDS, any increase in readings equates to degradation or clogging of the filters in your RO/DI filter.

The way to extend the life of your expensive RO Membrane you should replace the sediment pre-filter and carbon pre-filter frequently. Those pre-filters are inexpensive to change and help to extend the useful life of your RO Membrane and DI Resin.

Hope this helps,
Russ
