Xenia does NOT drop branches off that float to the back of your tank and grow whole new colonies on your rock. Kenya tree is the worst.

you wanna bet on that? I got rid of kenya trees out of one tank over a year ago. I keep thinking I got rid of all the xenia but nope, that crap keeps coming back in different locations every couple of months.

This is what killed me with my KT. I have not noticed this with my xenia.

Brown polyp with purple frame Montipora Digitata or maybe also called Acropora Aspera , I am really not sure but its a menace!!

I rid my system of all xena kenya tree type things along time ago.

Xenia should be considered a weed to be avoided. I can not get rid of if and pops everywhere in my LR now.
