that coral looks way to big to dip and from experience a dip would stress the coral further and not help.there are plenty of tanks that have AEFW I'd be willing to bet most don't even know and blame the deaths on everything but,
find a nice wrasse maybe a christmas wrasse six line or 4 line

IMO, natural predators will only help so much. What you can do is use a turkey baster and try blow them off. Some of your fish may eat them when they get blown into the water column. BUT, if they miss them, then they might land on another acro. I believe this method is useful if the infestation is minor and you expect to live with the AEFW. If the infestation is severe, I would dip the coral. I'd imagine it can fit in a 5 gallon bucket if its too big to dip in a small container. I consider it severe if the coral is browned out, and possibly starting to recede. Usually at that point, the coral will stop growing and start dying progressively.

And from my own experience, if you believe the coral is too big to dip and you don't want to frag it off your rock, the alternative is you can wait until the coral dies off until the remaining part alive is small enough to dip. Its probably not a good idea to wait like I did though. :lol2:
