I am taking the leap

Thanks to all of you guys that have beautiful mix reefs and all sps tanks.(House,Daceman,Tony, Paul) I am taking a leap from all softies to a mix reef tank, mostly sps. And I am upgrading to a larger tank going bare bottom. My 72 bow has only been up for 4 months and now i am upgrading to a bigger tank. Sigh you guys made me so envious of your beautiful tank now I want the same thing. We'll i'll keep my fingers cross hope my tank turns out as nice as everyones sps tank!

So By saying that I am selling most of my softies:
Leathers, Zoo's, Mushroom's etc...

I don't know if I am going to sell the tank I might Give it to my girl's father. I f I do decide to sell it i'll keep you in mind Chief.

Yeah I know Tony thanks everyone in this site are very knowledgeable and friendly so any questions I have I know will be answered. I learned a lot from this site, from starting my 65 gal 2 years ago. Man I am so excited Bigger Mix Reef Here I come!

I got hooked on the colors of the sps! I saw Daceman's and Jim's Tank and i was so jealous. This hobby is so addicting! I'm so addicted that's the only thing i keep thinkin about. I think those books that Tim (Derm) lend me did it!

Yeah i saw that one too at FT man so tempting but I don't know what Fiance will say if i spend that much on a tank! LOL

Mark, welcome to a very intricate web we weave of mixing different animals, with different requirements, in the same tank. :scratch:

I'm already there with the mixed as well. It's a great way to go. You just can't be excessive/minimal on flow or lighting. Balance is the key. Good luck, I'm sure your new tank will be as successful as those you mentioned. We want pix along the way.
