Return pump question?

I have a 75gal tank with a 15 gal sump I have a 500 gph return pump on it now was just wondering If I should upgrade it?

How big is your overflow? I used a mag 7 on my 75 with a 20 lng sump and it worked great with a 1 1/2" bh.

It's a built in center overflow

Then its probably an inch. You should be fine with the 500 gph but could go higher if you wanted a little more turn over.
