O.K . . . I have a nice tank . . . blah blah blah . . . but I can't keep acans, and Tubs Blue Zoos melt when I put them under my intense lighting scheme so I'm seriously considering a complete changeover to T5. So here's the Zenith of my aquarium life, and the question is if you were me would you risk a change to all T5 in the hopes that you could keep the same color, but add a few new colors and corals that you couldn't keep before.

Anyways, its all in fun and just wondering what other folks think . . .

Ummm, your tank looks awesome and if I were you I would't change a thing.

I would have to agree, you have an amazing tank and I wouldn't change a thing. Unless your reason for changing is something more pressing than just to keep a coral, I'd stay the course. Even with a change in lighting, being able to keep those corals would not be a guarantee. I for example have yet to be able to keep a pulsing xenia, yet I had a beautiful pink birdsnest that I grew from a twig frag, go figure. And it seems you've got the husbandry down pact, great tank.

I wouldn't change over and if I did I would go to leds. With that being said I see you have a nice group of Eric in there. They need pretty much the same requirements of an acan. Try starting the acan in some shade if possible.

not going to tell you to change as the way the tank looks, but i wouldnt go to MH from my t5's i have, and tubbs blue's are known melters anyways, and doubt it is the light, tank just might be to clean, certain zoa's just wont live or thrive in sps dom tanks as the tank isnt dirty enough, and when u had acans did you ever spot feed ?
