Melafix

Melafix as a coral dip, anymore know how effective it is at keeping out pests? Used it once and the corals were fine, but also didn't find anything so don't know if it worked.

really good on corals all kinds of stuff comes out. If your picking up a new piece and you have a chance to dip it do it.

how much of it do you guys use?

i use what the bottle says and only dip for 5 10 min tops but frist i dip in coral rx and then dip in the melefix

Melifix is good for internal parasites in softer corals such as blastos and acans there was a page about it in the big ass book by julian sprung it removes worm that destroys corals

I think he means - kills the worm that if left in the coral will eventually kill the coral
