I was looking to find a pump to give me 300gph (5 X an hour for 60 gallons). Some of the online calculators dont have all the pumps. I am looking at the Eheim 1260. The attached will be my setup with 3/4 inch pipe...

Why is the return 'T'd' back to the sump? The Eheim 1260 only has 635 gph at zero head. With 5' of vertical head + the back pressure of the fittings, you'll only get about 400 gph at 5'. Your system should easily be able to handle that if you've got a 1" overflow.

It is T'd back to adjust the flow...I prefer not to just restrict it...Rather re-direct it...
