It's still cyanoacrylate gel, so it will probably work the same as IC gel. Putting it in a giant bottle (nano particles or not) was a poor choice.

and for those wondering. I just did the math (too much time on my hands?), and the price per ounce is roughly the same as IC gel. The clogging tip is annoying, but the IC gel comes with more than one tip now, and I'm not above snipping a little bit of the tip off the get the glue out. If they made it in smaller bottles (75ml?) I'd buy it to do a side by side trial, but not for $50!

Also, the insta-cure spray that BSI makes for IC gel is awesome. Josh had it at the front table last swap for $5 if I remember correctly. We played around with it the night before, and it really does make it cure right away.

When was this product released?

I saw it was posted on Friday, April 1. I wasn't sure if it was an April fool's joke or not, but its still on the site http://ecotechmarine.com/coralglue/

I did the calculations, the BSI comes in .7oz which is ~20ml

CG @ $50 for 295ml comes out to 5.9ml per dollar, and therefore $3.39 for 20ml

I think the CG might actually be cheaper then the BSI, BUT I would still choose the BSI because the convenience of smaller packs. When the tip gets clogged, I used to use it one more time by taking the tip off and glue a few frags with big globs and toss it. Now that BSI gives 2 tips, that'll happen even less. I would hate for 295ml of superglue to go to waste after the tip gets clogged.

Ive been using super glue gel from the dollar store. It comes with 3 .007 0z 0r 2g tubes, for a $1! I dont have to worry about tips clogging because the tubes are so small and cheap! After I drop a spot on a plug or rock and stick the frag to it, I dip it in some saltwater and it pretty much cures right away. I can glue enough frags to fill Prattreefs tank for $50 lol
